The Best Cyber Monday Car Deals? They Last Until January.
Happy Holiday Season from all of us (i.e. me!) at Lanekeep. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend, and that the drive to wherever you spent it didn't make you swear off cars entirely.
For the second straight Thanksgiving, I used Turo, the Airbnb of car rental (not sponsored), to spend more time behind the wheel of a popular EV. I chose the 2024 Mustang Mach-E, Ford’s first major foray into electric vehicles that, somewhat controversially, borrows styling cues and branding from the legendary Mustang coupe. My stepdad, who owned a 1967 Mustang convertible, had zero interest in the four-door electric version. Or maybe he just didn't want to drive it with me—the guy who crashed his 1967 Mustang convertible. My family and I had a pretty swell experience in the Mach-E, though — more on that to come — and as I looked up current pricing and deals on the Ford, I noticed it was among the better values already posted in what looks to be a fabulous end-of-year stretch for car buyers.
Dealers have a lot of inventory to move by year-end, with major metrics pointing to buyer-friendly conditions for new vehicles not seen since before Covid. If you're ready to pivot from stuffing your face to stuffing your driveway, now's the time — and Lanekeep is here to help shake you out of your tryptophan haze and help you through the buying process.
That’s why we’re offering our own special Cyber Monday / Small Business Whatever special:

As a little early holiday gift from me to you, I've picked three Lanekeep-approved EV deals to kick off the shopping season. There will certainly be more where this came from — make sure you’re following us on social media! – but here are some offers out now that are worth your time.
🎯 Top Pick: Ford Mustang Mach-E
- 0% financing for 72 months
- $0 down
- Free home charger and installation
- Available through January 5

Surprise! Ford’s deal on the Mach-E I drove throughout Thanksgiving week deal stands out because you don't need any money upfront, and you don't make your first payment for 90 days — essentially three free months to settle in. The free home charger and installation — about a $1500 value — sweetens it further.
Lots of people will tell you to RUN from financing deals on EVs due to depreciation, and at normal interest rates, they’d be right. You quickly owe more on the car than it’s actually worth, which is called being “underwater” or “upside down” on your loan.
But if you qualify for the 0% financing, and put down 10%, your payment drops to around $625/month, and after three years of ownership you're above water and stay there — you’d owe about $22,500 and we estimate the car would be worth $25,000.
If you put a lot of miles on your car, or like keeping your car for ages, then financing is the way to go, and these rates are pretty exceptional.
🎯 Best Lease: Honda Prologue
- $289/month for 36 months
- $3,899 due at signing
- 10,000 miles/year
- Requires Honda loyalty or “conquest” of other manufacturer
- Available through January 5

Honda's offering the popular and practical Prologue AWD Touring — a spacious electric crossover with 296 miles of range — for just $289 a month if you currently own a 2010 or newer vehicle from a long list of brands (Honda, Toyota, Ford, Chevy, Tesla, and many others). That works out to an effective $397/month when you factor in the due-at-signing amount over 36 months.
This is a marvelous deal if you need an EV for around-town commuting and an occasional road trip. I really like the Prologue’s interior and styling vs. its GM siblings. Just make sure you can tolerate its low-speed pedestrian warning sounds. Some people find them...distinctive.
If you don't qualify for the loyalty/conquest offer, it bumps to $389/month, which is still competitive at $497/month effective.
The Prologue shares its platform with several GM EVs (Chevy Blazer EV, Cadillac Lyriq), so it's proven technology with accessible maintenance. And, unlike its GM counterparts, you can use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the Prologue.
Note: Only available in select states (CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, ME, MD, MA, MN, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OR, PA, RI, VA, VT, WA, WV).
🃏 The Wildcard: Nissan Ariya
- 0% for 72 months
- $547/month with 10% down
- About-to-be-discontinued model

This is the deal I'd chase if I could actually find one. Nissan is discontinuing the Ariya after 2025, which is a shame because it’s been one of my picks in the segment since it launched. I adore the serene, zen-like interior, the unbelievably comfortable seats, and Nissan’s excellent adaptive cruise control system. Its styling is futuristic, and it comes in one of my favorite paint colors: Northern Lights Metallic (pictured above), which is purple or green or black, depending on the lighting or angle.
Since the Ariya is leaving the American market, dealers are slashing prices to clear remaining inventory. I found loaded Platinum+ models marked down from $57,360 to $43,759—that's 24% off sticker. Stack that discount with Nissan's 0% financing and you're looking at $547 a month with about $4,400 down, or $608 a month with nothing down.
The catches are real, though: there are only a few dozen left in the country, a stop-sale might be coming, and being discontinued raises questions about long-term resale value and parts availability. But if you can find one and you don't mind driving an "orphan" model — and probably keeping it for the long-term — the numbers are wild enough that it might be worth the gamble.
More deals are coming in December as automakers push for year-end sales numbers. But 0% financing is rare and valuable — it represents thousands in real savings compared to typical loan rates. And these are just a few options; over at CarEdge, they’ve got a great piece listing over 40 current 0% offers on a ton of models, both electrified and otherwise.
As always, Lanekeep is here, ready and willing to be your car buying buddy. Let me know how we can help you get the best deal in December — or any other month.
